A native of Manning, SC, Jeffrey joined the WACH Fox Good Day Columbia Team in 2008 as an Idol Correspondent after a successful run on Season 7 of the hit TV Show, American Idol. Jeffrey continued to become a must-see for the viewers and transitioned to Entertainment Reporter for Good Day Columbia. With much fanfare, Jeffrey became the host of the The Jeffrey Lampkin Show, the #1 Television Show on Sunday Morning for 6 Seasons. A sought after event host and speaker, Jeffrey graduated from Manning High School in 2000. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Newberry College and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University Jeffrey wears many hats. In addition to his work with Good Day Columbia, he is currently the host of Sunday Morning Gospel with Jeffrey Lampkin, which is currently the Number 1 Sunday Morning Radio Show, and airs weekly from 6am-10am on 101.3 The Big DM. He is the owner and operator of Jeffrey Lampkin’s Country Boy Kitchen in Sumter SC, Co Owner and Marketing Director for The Lampkin Law Firm, Praise and Worship Leader at Grace Cathedral Sumter SC, and an award winning Choir Director, presently directing the Award Winning, Francis Marion University Young Gifted and Blessed Gospel Choir. Jeffrey has received numerous awards, appeared on international and national television, and shared stages with countless political figures, artists, actors and actresses and more. Most recently, he was featured on Good Morning America not once, but twice sharing his passion for God and his music.

Jeffrey is happily married to Attorney Harriet Huell Lampkin. They reside in Blythewood, South Carolina and are the proud parents of a cute chihuahua named Diamond Elizabeth Lampkin. Jeffrey released his Debut CD with Francis Marion which landed at Number 16 in the ITunes Gospel Charts. Jeffrey’s passion for the People and his desire to see someone smile, give him the drive to make every day and every moment count.
